NYSEG and RG&E Increase Rebates on Energy Efficient Residential Natural Gas Equipment
Limited-Time Offer for Installations on or After September 1, 2012

Rochester, NY – NYSEG and RG&E, subsidiaries of Iberdrola USA, with the approval of the New York State Public Service Commission have increased rebates for residential natural gas customers who install qualifying energy efficient equipment and related controls on or after September 1, 2012.

“We are excited to offer our residential customers increased incentives to replace existing natural gas equipment with more energy efficient equipment,” said Mark S. Lynch, president of NYSEG and RG&E. “These higher rebates help offset the initial cost of changing to more energy efficient equipment. Energy efficient equipment yields many benefits: lower energy bills for customers, the environmental benefits of lower energy consumption and increased business for qualified installers.”
