NYSEG Awards $169,000 Economic Development Grant to Upstate Niagara Cooperative for Chill Tunnel Expansion
Rochester, NY – NYSEG, a subsidiary of Iberdrola USA, has awarded a $169,000 economic development grant to Upstate Niagara Cooperative, Inc. for utility infrastructure investments for a recently completed chill tunnel expansion at Upstate Niagara’s North America Drive location in West Seneca.

The grants we provide are excellent catalysts to help businesses grow.”
“The funding that we received from NYSEG’s economic development team helped us to expand our product cooling capacities in the most efficient manner, allowing us to bring additional high-quality dairy products to market,” said Joe Duscher, chief operating officer of Upstate Niagara Cooperative.
The NYSEG grant is part of approximately $40 million NYSEG and RG&E have invested in economic development over the last four years.
