NYSEG Continues to Make Progress Restoring Power

NYSEG continues to make considerable progress restoring power to more than 61,000 customers who lost power due to severe weather that impacted the state Sunday night and into yesterday morning. As of 4 p.m. today, power has been restored to approximately 57,000 homes and businesses, or nearly 91% of customers impacted. NYSEG will continue to shift resources to the affected areas until every customer has been restored. The company continues to work to restore all customers by 11:45 p.m. We appreciate our customers’ patience.

We request that customers use extra caution if trick-or-treating this evening in areas where crews are working, and to stay clear of any downed wires. Downed wires should be reported to us at 1.800.572.1131.
