NYSEG Progressing With Ongoing Restoration Efforts

Company Continues to Monitor Forecasts for Next Storm Expected to Hit Tomorrow

BREWSTER, NY — March 6, 2018, 9:30 p.m. — NYSEG, a subsidiary of AVANGRID Inc. (NYSE: AGR), continues restoration efforts to our customers that remain without power. As of 9 p.m., more than 166,000 customers have had their power restored across the state. A workforce of more than 2,000, including more than 340 new arrivals today and overnight emergency crews, are working expeditiously to restore power to the majority of customers in Delaware, Dutchess, Putnam, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester counties by 11:45 p.m. tonight. NYSEG is also monitoring forecasts in the area with projected snowfall totals of 10-16 inches through Thursday.

Today, crews have been able to restore power to approximately 45,000 customers in the Brewster Division and 22,000 customers in the Liberty Division. To date, more than 2,000 wires and 322 poles have been discovered as part of restoration efforts in the two divisions.
