Current Site Activities

The remedial investigation of the site has been completed and approved by the New York
State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). A public availability session to
present the findings of the remedial investigation is scheduled for Thursday June 25, 2009
from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Following the public availability session NYSEG will conduct a feasibility study which will
evaluate a full range of remedial options for the site. That process is expected to take approximately six months to complete. The public will have an opportunity to review and comment on the remedial options before the DEC selects the final remedy for the site.
