esco price option

Option 1. ESCO Price Option

This option consists of an ESCO supply charge, a fixed NYSEG transition charge, and a fixed NYSEG delivery charge. How much you pay for your electricity supply depends on your agreement with your ESCO. ESCO pricing information is not provided to NYSEG; please contact ESCOs directly.

How do you enroll?

If you select the ESCO Price Option, you must contact a supplier and they will enroll your account for you.  In order to process your enrollment, your supplier will need your Point of Delivery ID (PoD ID), which you can find on the top of page three of your bill.

When can you enroll?

  • Any NYSEG supply customer can take this option. It will take effect with your first meter read, actual or estimated, that occurs at least 15 days after we receive your enrollment from your ESCO.

Is this your current pricing option?

Customers currently enrolled in the ESCO Price Option can switch to the NYSEG Default Supply Option or to the NYSEG Variable Price Option (depending on your NYSEG Service Classification) at any time.  Contact your supplier to switch back to a NYSEG supply option.
