Gas Long Term Plan
On May 12, 2022, the New York Public Service Commission issued an order adopting a natural gas system planning process. Among other things, the Order requires the State’s eleven largest utilities to develop long-term plans on a three-year cycle. New York State Electric and Gas and Rochester Gas and Electric filed an initial long-term plan on October 2, 2023. View the plan below:

Stakeholder Information Session
On September 13, 2023, New York State Electric and Gas and Rochester Gas and Electric hosted an Informational Session for stakeholders to share information regarding its natural gas system generally and to enable stakeholders’ effective participation in the long-term planning process. After the presentation there was a question-and-answer session to address matters related to the presented material.
