Regular HEAP and Emergency HEAP are now open as of January 2, 2026. Both Regular and Emergency HEAP will be available through April 7, 2026, or until funding is exhausted, whichever occurs first.

The Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) is a federal grant program that assists income eligible households in paying for energy costs, repairs and weatherization.
Income eligible customers may receive:
One regular HEAP grant per heating season.
Emergency HEAP grants.
The number of grants vary per heating season depending on the availability of funds.
