NYSEG and RG&E Expand Leadership Team


NYSEG and RG&E announce the appointments of a new vice president of Regulatory and a new State Government Relations program manager
Binghamton, NY — July 23, 2025 — New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) have appointed Lindsey Overton Orietas as vice president of Regulatory and Ryan Gregoire as the State Government Relations program manager.
“Lindsey and Ryan will be crucial additions to the team, each bringing years of experience within their fields and a proven record of dedication to New York,” said Kim Harriman, deputy CEO of Avangrid. “They will join strong teams that are dedicated to advancing NYSEG and RG&E’s mission of delivering value and safe, reliable power to our customers and communities.”

Lindsey brings a distinguished track record in regulatory law, public service, and energy policy, with expertise in New York’s utility landscape. As vice president of Regulatory for New York, Lindsey will lead the development and execution of regulatory strategy for NYSEG and RG&E. She will oversee the Regulatory Filings and Processes team and the Electric and Gas Tariff groups.
Lindsey’s leadership and experience working on complex energy policies and infrastructure projects will help advance NYSEG and RG&E’s mission of delivering value to our customers and communities. She holds a J.D. from Albany Law School and a B.A. in economics and Spanish from Wake Forest University.
Ryan, who previously served the New York State Association of Counties as the legislative director, will join the New York Government Relations team. As program manager of State Government Relations, Ryan will focus on communicating with state and local elected officials and agency officials to ensure the NYSEG and RG&E mission is being advanced in the halls of the State Capitol.
Ryan brings with him more than a decade of local government experience, a strong grasp of the workings of New York State, and a commitment to serving all New Yorkers. He holds an MPA from the University at Albany in local government management and human resource management and a B.A in political science from SUNY Brockport.
