NYSEG and RG&E Hosting a Community Connection Event in Cayuga County This Week

Company representatives and advocates will connect with customers, offering resources, and assist with bills 

Customers will be helped on a first-come, first-serve basis; No formal presentation 

 

Port Byron, NY — June 23, 2025 — New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) will hold a Community Connection event in Port Byron this week to connect directly with customers, offering resources and answering personal billing questions. These events enable customers to get face-to-face, one-on-one help with a billing concern or with assistance they may require in paying their bill. 

 

There will not be a formal presentation at the event. Customers are encouraged to show up anytime during the available time slot to meet with a customer service representative. They will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis. 

 

During the event, customers can ask questions about their accounts and learn about resources to help manage energy costs.
