NYSEG and RG&E Looking to Build their Workforce of the Future at Staatsburg Career Fair Wednesday
Career opportunities include project management, engineering, line mechanics and more
Company representatives will connect with potential candidates at F.D.R. High School
BREWSTER, NY —October 24, 2023 — New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) and Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) are looking to build the clean energy workforce of the future. The Companies will take part in a career fair in Staatsburg on Wednesday, October 25 for Senator Michelle Hinchey and Hyde Park CSD’s Skilled Trades and Jobs Fair. This is a chance for the public to explore open career opportunities with NYSEG and RG&E.
The Companies are looking to fill positions in Project Management, Engineering, and Construction/Maintenance.

NYSEG and RG&E have enacted an aggressive action plan to improve customer service after pandemic-related challenges. The Companies hired more than 120 new customer service employees and added new billing specialists in 2022. These improvements have paid off, with both Companies now meeting and exceeding stringent service levels required by the New York State Public Service Commission (PSC).
NYSEG and RG&E remain committed to strengthening their workforce to continue to provide customers with safe and reliable service.
