NYSEG Collaborating with PULP at Utility Clinic Event This Week
Customer service representatives and advocates available to answer questions and connect customers with bill assistance programs
Customers can find out if they’re eligible for HEAP, EAP, and EEAP
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — September 29, 2026 — New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) is collaborating with the Public Utility Law Project (PULP) at a Utility Clinic event on Wednesday, September 30.
The event is designed to connect customers with bill assistance programs and resources to help manage monthly energy usage and costs. Customers have the opportunity to connect directly with NYSEG representatives in person. Customers are invited to learn if they’re eligible for the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) and other energy assistance programs, including the Energy Affordability Program (EAP) and the Enhanced Energy Affordability Program (EEAP).

Customers can also learn about energy efficiency programs and address billing concerns. Customers are encouraged to bring a copy of their utility bill, a form of identification, and a copy of their benefits award letter from HEAP, SNAP, SSI, or other public assistance if they have one.
