NYSEG Hosting Community Connection Event on Thursday at Burdett Fire Department
Customers encouraged to learn about HEAP, energy assistance programs, and receive face-to-face help with bills
Event will be held on Thursday, September 10 from 4 – 7 p.m.
BURDETT, N.Y. — September 4, 2026 — New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) customers in the Ithaca and Elmira communities are invited to attend the Company’s upcoming Community Connection event on Thursday, September 10 at the Burdett Fire Department.
There is no formal presentation. This open-house style event will provide customers with the opportunity to connect directly with NYSEG representatives in person. Customers are invited to learn more about HEAP and other energy assistance programs, smart meters, energy efficiency programs, local project information, and receive face-to-face help with any billing concerns.
