NYSEG to Engage with Customers at Community Connection Event Wednesday
Customer service representatives will help resolve billing issues

ITHACA, NY — November 28, 2023 — New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) will connect with customers as part of its service improvement journey. The Company is hosting a customer service Community Connection event Wednesday, November 29 at the Cornell Co-Operative Extension in Ithaca. The in-person event is designed to update customers on operations and answer questions in a community-friendly setting.

Customers can show up anytime between those hours to work with customer service representatives to get their billing issues resolved. Representatives and advocates can also answer questions about smart meter installations, address termination/shut-off notices, help with new services, and provide energy efficiency information.
NYSEG remains committed to improving customer service and will continue holding events with local government and community organizations across the region.
