NYSEG to Hold Community Connection Event in Poughquag This Week

Reps and advocates at the event will connect with customers, offering resources and addressing billing needs 

 There will be no formal presentation, customers will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis 

 

Brewster, NY — April 6, 2026 — New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG) will hold a Community Connection event in Poughquag this week to meet directly with customers, offering resources, answering questions, and addressing account needs. These events allow the Company’s customers to get face-to-face, one-on-one help with a billing concern and to address any questions.  

 

There will not be a formal presentation at the event. Customers are encouraged to arrive anytime during the timeslot to meet with a customer service representative. They will be helped on a first-come, first-served basis.  

 

During the event, customers can ask questions about their accounts and learn about resources to help manage energy costs.   

 

Details of the upcoming event are below:  

Wednesday, April 8 

Beekman Town Hall 

4 Main Street  

Poughquag, NY  

4 to 7 p.m.  

 

This open-house style event will allow customers to learn about resources available to them, including one-on-one assistance with bills, energy assistance and efficiency programs, local project information, and information on smart meters.
