Multifamily Energy Efficiency Program

We are taking extra measures to ensure the safety of our customers, contractors and employees during this time. Prior to engaging in program activities, our program partners are required to review and adhere to all New York State Safe Return to Work guidelines.

Our Multifamily Energy Efficiency program delivers electric and natural gas energy savings by providing low to no cost equipment upgrades in apartment and condominium complexes.

A FREE energy assessment will first be conducted at the property to determine the different ways energy is used in your building. Data is collected and used to generate a proposal identifying opportunities that may include:

Low to no cost installation of energy-efficient products such as:

  • LEDs in dwelling units
  • Energy-efficient faucet aerators and showerheads, and water heater pipe wrap in dwelling units where water is heated by electricity or natural gas
  • NEST Smart Thermostats in dwelling units
  • Smart Power Strips in dwelling units
  • Screw-in LEDs in common areas in conjunction with in-unit installation

Discounted pricing for installation of qualified energy-efficient products* in common areas such as:

  • Interior LED lamps, fixtures and exit signs
  • Exterior LED fixtures including wall packs, floodlights, canopy lights and pole lights
  • Occupancy sensors
  • NEST Smart Thermostats

Download our Measure Guide for a list of offerings.

Please note: The Multifamily Energy Efficiency program has a network of vetted and qualified installers and energy specialists who will perform the installation of the contracted measures.
