NYSEG and RG&E Announce Global Estimated Time of Restoration Following Ongoing Wind Event

  • RG&E customers should call 1-800-743-1701 to report downed power lines or other hazardous situations

ROCHESTER, NY — February 25, 2019 — 3:00 p.m. NYSEG and RG&E, subsidiaries of AVANGRID (NYSE: AGR), plan to restore power to 95% of the customers affected by the significant wind event on Sunday by Monday, February 25, 2019 at 11:45 p.m., with the remaining customers restored by Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 11:35 p.m.

Additionally, the companies will update these customers’ accounts with individual estimated times of restoration as we gather information from crews in the field. Some customers with significant damage to their infrastructure will be restored as they are able to make repairs.
