Commercial & Industrial Demand Response

Our commercial and industrial demand response program is designed to reduce electricity consumption during periods of peak use from May 1 to September 30, which will help maintain system reliability in your community and potentially lead to lower electricity prices. Our program offers two payment options to match your desired level of commitment and benefit.

Commercial System Relief Program

This program gives you advance notice to reduce your energy consumption for planned events and provides compensation for participation. Planned events occur on weekdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m, when the day-ahead peak load forecast is at least 92% of the forecasted summer system-wide peak.

The 2021 Demand Response season ended as of September 30th.

We will begin accepting Commercial System Relief Program applications for the 2022 Summer Capability Period in January of 2022.
